PowerWatts Pedals Into Edward Street Quarter

Graves Jenkins has successfully secured the letting of a new fitness studio at Block C, 3 Neptune Square, Edward Street Quarter, Brighton, to PowerWatts, bringing an innovative indoor cycling concept to one of the city’s most prominent mixed use developments.

The deal further reinforces Graves Jenkins ongoing involvement within Edward Street Quarter, one of Brighton’s most significant regeneration schemes, and highlights continued demand for high quality leisure and wellness operators within well positioned city locations.

Now approximately six weeks into its new location within the Neptune Building, PowerWatts is already shifting gears. What began in a smaller space near Sea Lanes has evolved into a 5,000 sq ft cycling hub, designed to bring Brighton’s riding community together under one roof.

The new studio significantly expands the brand’s presence in the city, delivering a purpose-built environment combining immersive lighting, sound and performance tracking with high intensity cycling workouts. The concept focuses on data driven training designed to maximise efficiency while creating a highly engaging group fitness experience.

Commenting on the move, Alessio Guglielmi, Co-Founder of PowerWatts Brighton, said:

“This new studio marks a major step forward for PowerWatts in Brighton. Our goal has always been to build a space that brings the local cycling community together while delivering a training experience that is both fun and results driven.”

He added:

“PowerWatts combines performance data, expert coaching and an immersive environment that pushes riders to achieve more than they thought possible. The move to Edward Street Quarter has given us the scale and setting to grow that vision.”

Edward Street Quarter has quickly established itself as one of Brighton’s most dynamic commercial destinations, attracting a diverse mix of occupiers across office, hospitality, health and lifestyle sectors.

Commenting on the transaction, Oliver Graves of Graves Jenkins, who handled the letting, said:

“PowerWatts is a perfect fit for Edward Street Quarter and the type of occupier that acts as a genuine catalyst for a scheme. Its arrival has already helped drive further momentum, with increased interest from prospective occupiers and additional commercial space now under offer."

Graves Jenkins acted as commercial agents in relation to the letting and continues to advise on opportunities across the development.
