We liaise with the client on the appropriate strategy in advance of the due date, within the clients brief, seeking to align with their aspirations having regard to prevailing market conditions.  Our market knowledge, transaction database and research ensures that we correctly understand market rent levels helping us to succeed in negotiations.

Our clients include property companies, larger institutions, local authorities, occupiers, investors and local businesses.

    Our service includes:

    • Measured survey, lease analysis, rental assessment and recommendations.
    • Commencing rent review/lease renewal procedures, serving notices and/or liaising with legal representatives on the same.
    • Negotiations with the opposing party, liaising with the client throughout.
    • Settlement recommendations and advice on potential referral to Court or Arbitration/PACT.
    • Acting as Expert Witness where cases are referred to Court or Arbitration/PACT.

    Correct interpretation of rent review assumptions is critical in providing the appropriate advice and in conducting negotiations.  When advising on lease renewals, various provisions of the lease should be considered for review, not just level of rent, to ensure appropriate terms for the client are sought.
