Heritage Consultancy – The Ancient Priors

As reported by BBC News (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9qnx8121zno), Graves Jenkins are pleased to report that Listed Building Consent has been granted for the substantial scheme of specialist heritage repairs that we have specified to The Ancient Priors, a vitally important Grade II* heritage asset in the centre of Crawley.

Graves Jenkins are instructed by the building owners, Crawley Borough Council, to specify and Project Manage the works.

Starting with a detailed Planned Preventative Maintenance Report, our Building Surveying Department advised Crawley Borough Council of the urgencies of various items of work and we were pleased to be instructed to compile the detailed Schedule of Works for these important and sympathetic repairs ensuring proper traditional techniques and materials are used.

During the application process a competitive tender process has been undertaken and a well experienced and highly qualified local building contractor are lined up to start works whom we have a good working relationship with.
