Works at Goffs Park House, Crawley, are now 1 month into the project with almost the entirety of the building now surrounded in monitored and alarmed scaffolding, with just the tops of the chimneys left to be reached.
The scaffolding has given us the ability to see the beautiful decorative turret roof up close, covered with individual copper shingles.
Works to repair the front elevation, rotten timber sash windows and other decorative parts are well under way with the first coats of new paint already applied.
Meanwhile, Maisie the white pigeon has hatched her baby (squab) who is doing well!
The GJ building surveying team are delighted to be acting as Contract Administrator on behalf of Crawley Borough Council on this interesting project. We would be delighted to discuss any your own building project needs with you.
