Goffs Park House undergoing refurbishment

Commercial property specialists Graves Jenkins are delighted to have been appointed to project manage an extensive programme of repair and maintenance at the locally important Goffs Park House, situated within Goffs Park, Crawley.

Regular visitors to the park will have noted the deterioration of the exterior of this beautiful Victorian former manor house due in part to the lack of regular upkeep by the former tenant.

Following a successful dilapidations negotiation to secure funds from the previous tenant for lack of repair, Graves Jenkins’ Building Surveyor, Nicholas Booker, prepared the Schedule of Works and will be overseeing the project to be carried out by local Sussex contractor VG Builders Ltd.

Works will include refurbishment to the original sash windows, plus repointing and vegetation clearance to the substantial chimney stacks, all of which will become visible to visitors as the project progresses.

The works are due to complete in the autumn and we will keep you updated on progress.
