Graves Jenkins Take On Church Road
12 December 2017 By George Dobson BSc (Hons) MRICS
Graves Jenkins are pleased to report the letting of 124 Church Road, Hove – a property that had before our involvement, been vacant for approaching 12 months.
New occupier Hixon Green has taken on the commitment, carrying out a full refurbishment of the building and will endeavour to create a new destination café by day and wine bar by night.
Hixon Green commented ‘We are delighted to have secured this prime site in central Hove. We have been assisted by the landlord and Graves Jenkins in bringing our new concept to this popular and vibrant area of the city and we thank them for their positive attitude and understanding throughout’.
George Dobson Associate Director at Graves Jenkins 'Hixon Green's move to Church Road further highlights how occupiers are viewing this as 'the area' to operate from. Many restauranteurs are favoring this part of the city over the North Laine and Lanes area, due to being able to trade on larger floor plates which allows a greater amount of covers and flexibility on how to use the space. I am sure Hixon Green will be a success!'
124 Church Road becomes the latest restaurant transaction Graves Jenkins have completed on Church Road, following those of etch. at 216 Church Road, 196 Church Road to Fudgies Coffee with 115 Church Road (formerly Azaro) and 95-97 Church Road (established restaurant Ashoka) available but with considerable interest being received.
As featured in the recent ‘Hot Dinners’ web publication, Brighton & Hove is fast becoming a hot bed of interest from occupiers looking to trade in the city and visitors desperate to taste new & exciting cuisine.
