GJ ‘conduct’ Faraday Court sale
Wednesday, October 31, 2018 By Neil Cooper MRICS
Following a relatively short period of marketing, Graves Jenkins have completed the sale of Unity House, due to relocation, on behalf of Smoke Control Solutions Limited who owner occupied the building.
Unity House, a two-storey business unit extending to approximately 4750 sq ft with 19 car spaces, is one of four similar buildings within Faraday Court on Faraday Road, within the heart of Manor Royal Business District, one of the largest Business Parks in the South East.
Sarah Sutton, Financial Controller at Smoke Control Solutions, commented “We were genuinely surprised at the level of interest Graves Jenkins were able to generate and delighted with the efficient and professional service received. At all times throughout the process, from initial advice through to completion, we felt we were in a safe pair of hands”.
David Bessant, who handled the instruction said “Due to the location, nature and particularly the quality of the refurbishment undertaken by our client, coupled with the fact that buildings such as this rarely come to the market with freehold and vacant possession on Manor Royal, it was no surprise that we were able to stimulate keen interest in this opportunity and achieve the sale price of £910,000. Despite current and on-going macro-economic uncertainties, investor and owner occupier demand remains strong for well specified business units throughout the Gatwick Diamond area whereas stock levels are low”.
